OPEN YOUR BUSINESS TO THE ABUNDANT OPPORTUNITIES IN WESTERN AFRICA REGION

The AFMASS Western Africa edition is Western Africa’s most important food, beverage and milling industry trade show and conference.

Debuting in 2020 AFMASS Western Africa edition is the latest addition to the AFMASS Conferences & Exhibitions, that bring together the manufacturing, retail and foodservice sectors of the food industry to discover new technologies, unearth best practices and understand the latest market trends in sub-Saharan Africa.

The west African food industry is on the up, with rising populations, incomes and urbanization; stable, growing economies and a revitalized agriculture value chain that has provided increased opportunities to add value to grains, fruits and vegetable, oilseeds and dairy and livestock products in the region

The event brings together delegates and visitors from the following countries in the region:

  • Nigeria
  • Cameroon
  • Ghana
  • Cote d’Ivoire
  • Benin
  • Togo
  • Chad
  • Niger and neighbouring countries.

Located in Lagos, Nigeria, the hub for the growth of the food industry in Nigeria, and the economic capital of Africa’s most populous country, AFMASS Western Africa is entering the region at a critical time when local (e.g. Flour Mills of Nigeria, Dangote Group and many more) and international companies (Nestle, Danone, Kellogg, AB InBev, Coca-Cola) have over the last few years expanded their operations in the region, with a focus on meeting the market need for safe, more nutritious and affordable products.

AFMASS Western Africa aims at catalyzing the growth of the manufacture, retail, distribution and sale of food products; improving the capability of companies to meet new regulations; and introduce the latest processing and packaging technologies in the industry.

AFMASS Western edition will lay further emphasis on current issues and trends in the region; with a particular emphasis on how the region can improve on processing and packaging efficiencies, food safety and regional trade in grains, baked goods and oilseeds; sugar and confectionery; meat, fish and poultry and other food, beverage and animal feed products.

AFMASS Western Africa edition is structured to provide delegates and exhibitors with an excellent networking opportunity through a high-level conference and trade exhibition that is currently lacking in the region, where pure exhibition formats prevail.

The Conference sessions shall bring together 1000+ regional and international delegates and speakers in conference and panel discussion sessions.

A parallel exhibition, open to trade visitors, and where over 2000 visitors are expected over the three days, will provide exhibitors and partners the opportunity to trade and reach out to some of the leading regional and international suppliers of equipment, packaging, ingredients, food safety and lab, and other vital industry products and services.
