AFMASS Food Manufacturing Expo events in Africa are professionally run and comply with the laws of the host countries and the laws of Kenya, where the host company, FW Africa, is located.
All sponsors and exhibitors are are required to read and undertand the fine details of these terms and conditions:
Terms and Conditions for Sponsors and Exhibitors at AFMASS Food Manufacturing Expo events
- General Overview
By registering as a sponsor or exhibitor, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The organizer reserves the right to amend the terms without prior notice, but changes will be communicated to all parties promptly. - Eligibility
All sponsors and exhibitors must ensure their products, services, and marketing materials align with the laws and regulations of Kenya, the host country of the specific edition of the event, and other applicable jurisdictions. - Exhibition Space Allocation
Space allocation is at the sole discretion of the organizer and subject to availability. Sponsors and exhibitors must adhere to the assigned booth dimensions and layouts. The organiser has the right to change the allocated booth at any time - Booth Setup and Dismantling
Setup and dismantling must occur within the timeframes specified by the organizer. Late setup or early dismantling without prior approval may attract penalties. - Data Collection and Usage
All data collected during the event must comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Kenya Data Protection Act. You may collect data only with explicit consent from attendees and must state how it will be used. - Data Security
Sponsors and exhibitors must implement adequate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of any personal data collected. - Prohibited Activities
Misrepresentation, false advertising, or engaging in activities deemed unethical or illegal by the organizer is prohibited. Non-compliance may result in immediate removal from the event without refund. - Marketing Materials
All marketing materials, including flyers, banners, and giveaways, must be pre-approved by the organizer and adhere to ethical standards. - Use of Logos and Trademarks
Sponsors and exhibitors may use the event’s logo only with prior written approval from the organizer. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. - Insurance
Sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance to cover their participation in the event, including public liability and property damage coverage. - Liability
The organizer is not liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury that may occur during the event. Sponsors and exhibitors must ensure their equipment and personnel are adequately protected. - Cancellation Policy

Sponsors and Exhibitors can opt out of the event upto a maximum of 90 days to the event.
Any cancellation more than 90 days before the event will attract a 50% cancellation fee.
No refunds will be made for cancellations less than 90 days to the event. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Force Majeure
The organizer is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by events beyond their control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions. - Photography and Media Release
By participating, sponsors and exhibitors grant the organizer the right to capture, use, and publish photographs or videos of their staff and booths for promotional purposes. - Health and Safety
Sponsors and exhibitors must adhere to all health and safety regulations enforced by the venue and relevant authorities. Any exhibitor using any storage, preparation, cooking, demonstration or application equipment and supplies must conform to the terms set out by the organisers, the venue management and local relevant regulations. - Internet Usage
Sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for ensuring their internet use at the event is secure and compliant with data protection regulations. - Sub-Licensing or Sharing of Booths
Sponsors and exhibitors may not sub-license or share their allocated space without prior written consent from the organizer. - Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from participation in the event will be resolved under Kenyan law, and the jurisdiction will be the courts of Kenya. - Event Conduct
Sponsors and exhibitors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Smoking within the venue is not allowed, except in designated spots. - Compliance with Laws
Sponsors and exhibitors must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to GDPR, the Kenya Data Protection Act, consumer protection laws, and trade regulations.
