Africa Nutrition & Health Forum
DATE: JULY 15-17, 2026
LOCATION: SARIT EXPO CENTRE, NAIROBI, KENYA
THEME: Healthy People, Healthy Food, Healthy Planet: Advancing One Health in Africa
Africa faces a double burden of malnutrition: persistent under-nutrition (stunting, micronutrient deficiencies) alongside rising overweight, obesity and diet-related non-communicable diseases.
Rapid urbanisation, changing food systems, climate shocks, inequitable access to health services, and evolving consumer behaviour require integrated, multi-sector responses.
Set to be hosted in Nairobi — East Africa’s hub for policy, research and innovation — the Forum will bring together policy makers, private sector investors, non-profit and development organisations and academicians / researchers to accelerate evidence-based action in the food and healthcare industry.
The theme emphasizes the interconnectedness of human health, animal health, and environmental health — the core of the One Health approach — while placing nutrition at the center of Africa’s health and development agenda.
It positions the Forum as a space to explore how safe food systems, sustainable agriculture, disease prevention, and resilient environments can jointly improve nutrition and health outcomes.
Africa Nutrition & Health Forum 2026 edition will be hosted on the sidelines of the following co-located events:
- Africa Food Manufacturing Expo Kenya edition – The No.1 International Food & Beverage Manufacturing and Milling Industry Trade Show in Eastern Africa
- Africa Pharma Manufacturing Expo Kenya edition – The No.1 International Pharmaceuticals Industry Trade Show in Eastern Africa
- Africa FarmTech Expo Kenya edition – The No.1 International Agriculture Industry Trade Show in Eastern Africa
